Level 1 are a broad range of students who create art, friends and memories.

 

Most of our students on level 1 have various learning barriers and without complaint, worked enthusiastically through lockdown and used every available piece of technology they could to successfully finished their course in Art Design and Media to Merit and distinction levels.

Our students have used potatoes for sculpture, BBQ coals for drawing and created Henry Moore sculptures out of cake - that tasted delicious! They even managed to take part in a BLM project and created artwork for the Manchester Art Gallery after having a pretty heavy year of using MS Teams and Notebook.

I am particularly proud of all our students who have developed their creative abilities and are consequently at the heart of our teaching. Well done Level 1 you cracked it.
